growing up = loss of imagination?

Ok so you have a dream that when you grow up you want to be a pilot.

When you are five:

You: "Mommy when I grow up I wanna be a pilot!'
Mom: "Aww, that's so sweet."
You: "See I even drew a picture, that's the yellow plane, that's you that's me and that's daddy!"
Mom: Well, that's great!
You: Thanks mommy!

(hug)

When you are ten:

You: Hey mom, look at the T.V, I was watching this show about plane chrashes and stuff, so like being on a plane is hard!
Mom: Well, don't you worry son. You will be the greatest pilot ever!
You: Mom I'm not a kid anymore.
Mom: Of course not!

(As you can see kids at my age start to let go of these dreams they find silly and childish and make the biggest mistakes of their lives.)

When you are 20:

You: Hey mom, my bros are hanging out at the pizza place today, so-
Mom:  -so you need some money. (sigh)
You: Uh, yeah.
Mom: You, young man will have to get a job soon, after all you already owe me $36.00.(smile)
You: K ma! love ya!

When you are twenty-five

You: Wassup mom!
Mom: Now, is that any way to talk to a woman my age?
You: Sorry mom. What I mean to say is "How is your day going?"
Mom: Good, Good. How was your day at that "Tim Hortons"?
You: Oh great, got lot's of tips today.
(silence)
You: Um, ma could I take your good car Friday night?
Mom: Sure, where to?
You: Um, that fancy resturant up on Darrow Street.
Mom: Oh, I see what's happening, you having some lady company?
You: Mom!!!
Mom: Ok,ok (squeaky, excited voice: Oh, my little man's growing up!)

( The dream of being at the helm of a plane has pretty much vanished at this point in his life. Your problems only grow bigger with time.)

When you are 35:

You : How are you fitting into the new house Grenda?
Wife: Oh, I'm fitting in just fine!
You : Wanna go somewhere saturday night?
Wife: Not until you get a pay raise at that office of yours!
You: That's to bad.

The end.

Reuse, Reduce and Recycle

I know what you are thinking :

" Uhhg this again!" " How many times am I going to hear the same thing over and over again. Yeah, I know that cause that's what I might think. But that newspaper pile next to you could do a lot of things check these facts out.".

To produce each week's Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees
must be cut down.
Recycling a single run of the Sunday New York Times
would save 75,000 trees.
If all our newspaper was recycled, we could save about
250,000,000 trees each year!
If every Canadian recycled just one-tenth of their
newspapers, we would save about 25,000,000 trees a year.
If you had a 15-year-old tree and made it into paper
grocery bags, you'd get about 700 of them. A busy
supermarket could use all of them in under an hour! This
means in one year, one supermarket can go through over 6
million paper bags! Imagine how many supermarkets there are
just in the Canada!!!
The average Canadian uses seven trees a year in paper,
wood, and other products made from trees. This amounts to
about 2,000,000,000 trees per year!
The amount of wood and paper we throw away each year is
enough to heat 50,000,000 homes for 20 years.
Approximately 1 billion trees worth of paper are thrown
away every year in the U.S.
Canadians use 85,000,000 tons of paper a year; about 680
pounds per person.
The average household throws away 13,000 separate pieces
of paper each year. Most is packaging and junk mail.
In 1993, U.S. paper recovery saved more than 90,000,000
cubic yards of landfill space.
Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17
trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill
space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water.
This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings,
and 60 pounds less of air pollution!
The 17 trees saved (above) can absorb a total of 250
pounds of carbon dioxide from the air each year. Burning
that same ton of paper would create 1500 pounds of
carbon dioxide.
The construction costs of a paper mill designed to use
waste paper is 50 to 80% less than the cost of a mill using new pulp.

Thank you for reading these facts now don't scroll down just go up and share this with the people next to you that you know has some time.

Middle school!!!!

Hey guys! Not gonna write the date just here to say that

"Middle school has now started!"

So I have a question for you, since most of you probably got a new job or joined a new class/group or even moved in the past few years I want you to think back and remember that first moment.

Now go ahead and tell me what colour you felt like at that moment. Maybe you felt green for happy, maybe you had another color that means happy you might feel gray, a certain shade or any colour, shade anything that you felt at that moment and why?

Now tell me what shape you felt like at that moment. Maybe like a free triangle maybe a grumpy circle maybe you think the other way around, just think of a shape and write in the comment section below why you felt that.

Now do the colour and shape thing for now.

Anyway completely changing topic here and going back to middle school. Nah, the only fun things are new friends, bigger playground, writing with pen and being given more freedom and choice. You choose when you gotta go. You don't ask the teacher, no sir! You just go.

By the way here are random facts I know I will number them by using their randomness, uselessness and silliness.

Rakkhi celebration with family friends.

Rakkhi is a celebration where a sister ties a traditional string around a brother's wrist. The brother then promises to protect the sister for his life time. Now you see it's celebrated every year on august by Asians and since my family is Asian (we come from a small country called Nepal)(It's just like the hindu and tibetian people and stuff around that area not the chinese and stuff.). We celebrate it as well. We used to celebrate it a lot in Nepal but ever since we came to Canada 3 years ago we haven't until now, that is. This is because we had no younger sister in Canada. Our 2 possibilities were either Jasmi my cousins sister in Nepal or Rimsha my dads brother's Daughter. Now Nepal is just under half way around the world so our only real choice was Rimsha who lived in the USA. They finaly came to Canada 1 and a 1/2 years ago. This year  we finally celebrated and invited family friends to join in the fun. So I will post pictures and instead of just writing captions with facts I will go a little deeper.

Here you can see the beggining of the celebration with my cousin Rimsha with a little help from her mom, Reenu kaki since she is only like 20 months old by putting on some tika(some red sometimes yellow powder mixed with water so it feels like chocolate pudding. It's usaully put on one's forehead and resembles peace, respect and love on me and my lil bro, Nirvik. Do you guys know hard it is for someone to get a two-year old to this? Apparently pretty easy if they wish to do it unless their will is so great it kind of takes control and acts like a sugar rush!

Here the real celebration starts with Rimsha tying the cultural string around my wrist and then me retying it because it can be preeeeety hard to move around little fingers in a fashion that will double knot a pretty thick string. Especially if it's the first time trying to do it.

Here you can see that the photographer took the picture a little early. Well the picture below more than makes up for it.

Have you ever heard of the phrase " Million dollar smile " or the word "cute" what about the word " pretty"?

Well the photographer did it on time this time around but what's with the light effects? And it's like there is a dark cloud coming and you look up and see darth vaders invasion ship coming and then Hulk is like " HULK SMASH!!!!! " And people are like " Iron man did it again" I mean " sheesh! ". Oh, well back to the main topic. Nice picture eh?

The four ladies.

The actual ladies with Rimsha. The one at the top is my mom, Her on the right hand side is Reenu kaki, her on the left hand side is Chemma aunti and her at the bottom is Poonam antee. You know what they are all just extended family.

Family photo! Okay the next part is just going to be the names from left to right so skip ahead if you wish.

CN Tower trip and Centre Island trip this time with captions.

First we head off to a local well not local but around the area temple.

We take some nice pictures next
to the pretty flowers.

We leave and take a few last pics. and we head to toronto.

We enjoy the scenery for a while. I typed while three times wrong there. Wile, Wihle and wuo;d.

CN tower. Does it really need a better defenition? I mean it's just 553 metres of hollow steel completely encased with building material 30 years old. I mean just because it was the tallest man-made structure ever built for like 30 years, I don't get the big deal.

Guess what is happening in the picture?
Person one says : They are walking.
Person two says : They are walking.
Person three says : They are walking.
Who is correct?

I am really short. But I think I am starting my growth spurt. Well I aim to be at least a good 6 feet tall.

It's medley the moose at the tower. Anyone else feel like he is getting whipped every second we are not there? I mean look at his facial expresions!

Nice view of the city if you ask me.

Bottom of the ninth or maybe the third, probably the top of the fourth and he gets a home run or was just my imagination? Believe me all those blue things at the sides are blue jay fans and there are actual people at the bases and the pitcher is a green dude.

Glass floor real glassy. Jumping on it is fun! Breaking it falling 500 metres and breaking three limbs and 21 bones isn't. I guess the tower will close for a while to repair the glass floor after I fell down. That was a nice dream!

Ripley aquarim really fun. There are like a gazilion fish there maybe plus 1000 minus a gazilion if you want to be precise.  Have any of you been there?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want air in my mouth anymore.

Hey guys! This is not aloud so do not do this when you get there someday.

Better view.

The tower the tower thee tower your tower awesome tower our tower tall tower best tower big tower.

Hi! I am at the dock of  well something and getting ready to go to central island.

Water. Lets play I spy. Something wet! Something blue! Something that covers 71 percent of earths top crust and middle crust. I think 5000 feet is low enough to be called earths middle crust.

My brother riding a whole fire truck all by himself!

Bumper boats!!!

Swans. They look so ten.right?

Water fountain. With water.

Nice seaside picture. Don't you think? I was feeling really relaxed at that moment.

I liked the other one better. How about you?

Don't really know what to write for this one. Honestly saying.

My bro chilling like boss!

Night view of the city.
