Cedar Glen camp from a youngsters view part 13

So, today was loads of fun and it was really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really

But anyway let me tell you what we did today and all the wonderful scenes we saw.

Drip......drip......Drop!

Drip.... drip.....drip......drip.....drip my friend was only dripping the others I knew he was coming for me drip.....drip........drip.........drip  I got ready to run he was only 3 people away oops 2! drip....drip..............Drop! I ran around the circle and tied for the position but the next person to go would be me because I was just dropped on!  So, for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about then let me explain some rules.

Rules of drip....drip....Drop!

1. It is the exact same thing as duck....duck....goose.
2. Except you play with water.
3. You drip people for duck and say drip.
4. You drop one person for goose and say drop!
5. The person who is dripping the people and the person who is the goose must race around in the circle that the other players have made once the drop has been made.

So while you play this game at camp next year ( possibly) or with your family and friends take a moment to look at the wonderful scenery around you. Because at my camp I saw forest all around a scarce part of the world not crowded by humans. A land free from pollution, poverty and tension. A free land.

Giants ladder

 In this activity you had to climb a giant ladder. So, the ladder was 8 beams tall and as high as a house and a half. The objective was to climb the giant's ladder as high as possible while it was swaying and all you had was a helmet and a harness to protect you. The steps were wooden logs with cable at the edges to bind it together. The gaps between the ladders kept getting bigger as you climbed higher. This is like the order:

1. 0.5 meters
2. 0.75 meters 
3. 1 meter
4. 1 meter and a quarter
5. 1 meter and a third 
6. 1 meter and a half
7. 1 meter and three quarters
8. 2 meters

So me and a guy named Raemond teamed up and tied for first place with another group when we stood on top of the 6th ladder and almost the 7th but it was just too high for mabey another year or two. From atop the sixth ladder I saw a wonderous view of the countries lustourious forests spreading on for miles upon miles upon miles.

Fun and Games!

So we played some fun games such as squirt! Bang! And Moose,rabbit,elephant and palm tree.

Squirt

Squirt is a really fun game. So, a bunch of people get in a circle and there is a person in the middle who is the " Squirter ". The person in the middle points at someone in the circle and says " Squirt! " Whoever is getting pointed at has to bend down and the people on either side have to point at each other and say bang. First one to say "bang!" wins. And the loser sits down. If the person who is supposed to bend down doesn't then he or she is out.  We played two rounds of squirt before moving on and I survived till the top 10 in the first round and top 5 in the second. It was loads of fun!

 Moose,rabbit,elephant and palm tree.

So in this game there is one person in the middle who points at someone and says : moose or rabbit or elephant or palm tree. If she points at you then you must do the following. 

Moose means make a moose noise

Rabbit means make a rabbit noise

Elephant means make a elephant noise

Palm tree equals stand like you are going to dive with your arms on top of your head like a arrow.

If you are the person beside the pointed one the you must make moose antlers for moose.

Or if its a rabbit make thumping noises with your foot.


And if it's an elephant make elephant ears. Next to their head.

If its palm tree then do the hoola hoo

Swimming

At swimming we swam and dived all the way down and touched the bottom at 3.20 meters! And admired the nature from underwater.
