So, today we had loads of fun doing lots of fun games and sports but it will take too long to write about every single thing we did so I will only do one awesome activitie's summary or retell or just tell because it was never told before. So any way I will just tell about the most bruce thing we did on Tuesday which was shelter building! I think that our shelter was better than ever before. IT WITHSTOOD A GIANT TREE LOG LIKE A WHOLE PIECE OF THE FATTEST PART OF THE TREE WHICH PROBABLY WHIEGED LIKE 200 POUNDS AND STILL OUR SHELTER STOOD.
Shelter building
At shelter building it was so munch fun! We started our group with 3 people but then we were fighting over a guy named Jordon with another group so then we decided to just work together. So instead of making a classic teepee we decided to make a giant roof in this simple way because we had a strong group of six strong people. So this is how it was done. In a classic teepee sorry I meant lean-to there is a main log in the middle supported by two trees on either side that have a junction point. So we put two of these main logs on but on different trees. One edge of the end of the two logs were almost touching so it was sort of a right angle at the end. So we then got some big heavy and long logs and used them to fill the gap between the two logs which we will call m1 and m2. So our first log was medium sized about 7-8 feet and we put it over m2 then m1 and our first thing to support all the smaller sticks 6-7 feet that made the roof. It also made a triangle on top and triangles are super strong. So our less stronger two team members by that time we had 8 people were working on finding some sticks and putting them on top. Then we put a longer log on top the way like the first one and then another one like it but longer so now we had three really strong sticks well counting m1 and m2 five really strong logs to make our frame. Then we worked on surrounding the whole thing with something called medium sized sticks we also needed sticks for the roof and for the sidewalls and some bark and that is when we started realizing that we were running out of material. So we put out some offers with other groups that weren't doing so well to help us out and lend us their material. The answers were no's at first but then finally another strong group combined our material and chose to work on our fort because it was better. After that we were starting to run out again so we just found some bark covered up the last few holes so water wouldn't drip. At last we went out and found some small logs that we put inside to use as chairs. Finally at the end a counselor named Scrumy decide to throw a giant log that weighed more than like 2 fully grown adults and our shelter took no damage except that a twig fell through a tiny hole through the roof. Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brown is an awesome colour too so next time get ready for some brown writing that sounds so lame. Ok, bye for now
